That was cool! Will it be released on iTunes?
by Drakefan @ 18 Jul 2010 04:44 pm
Does anyone else think that the way they edited the girl and the clips they picked for her were more "revealing" than necessary? The whole idea for the video was great and the light grafitti looked amazing but they just killed the whole idea of "love" and kinda made it lust...
by mrbrightside @ 18 Jul 2010 04:53 pm
Awesome!1!!
by Giulia Rampazo @ 18 Jul 2010 04:58 pm

Love, love, love it!
by liljohn @ 18 Jul 2010 06:00 pm
oh yes that has made my goood day just the best its awesome that girl was a bit revealing but if it gets drake more fans then do it and grafitti was awesome its just awww its made my day hahahaha
by Drew @ 18 Jul 2010 06:15 pm
I guess I'll be the first, but I'm not to impressed with the video, honestly. I think they could have done a better job telling a story with it, rather than randomly showing the girl (and I mean showing! lol). Still, love the song and love Drake....just think he should have had a better director for this. (my opinion anyway).
by Drew @ 18 Jul 2010 06:28 pm
Did you guys notice that this edit of "Our Love" is different than what was on Drake Bell Radio on his website? Some minor instrumental differences...I guess they really are still playing with all the songs. Will the 3rd album ever get here? :)
by nowhereman @ 18 Jul 2010 06:49 pm
I love it! Thanks.
by carly @ 18 Jul 2010 09:23 pm
I think I kind of agree with Drew. It would have been more enjoyable if there was more of a story line, but the flashlight effect is still pretty cool! It kind of gives the video a vintage feel!
by Daniel Ford @ 18 Jul 2010 09:35 pm
Yeah, I agree with Drew. The song tells a story, and it would've been better to have a storyline in the video, rather than just Drake playing guitar with a girl next to him and words in lights.

Seemed a bit bland and empty to me.

Anyway, yeah, I too, like Drew, also noticed the minor instrumental and vocal differences in this version than the version that was released on Drake Bell Radio.

I guess we'll only really know when we hear the album what each song will sound like.

Anyway, I'm glad their is a video all the same smile
by mag93 @ 18 Jul 2010 10:08 pm
great video....obviously filmed prior to takeover!!!!
by mag93 @ 18 Jul 2010 10:10 pm
what I meant was....this video is more marketable than the "I Know" video.
by Steph @ 19 Jul 2010 01:41 am
I love the effects but I think the video's a bit boring with just showing Drake playing the guitar most of the time
by meghanbets @ 19 Jul 2010 03:32 am
AWESOME !! The perfect music video for this song !
by hayley boyd @ 19 Jul 2010 04:29 am
yh i think the video was gd and yh i do have to agree tht they was just showing the girl and drake playing the guitor and they should of made it abit more like a story and instead of just drake standing round but u never know drake mite of wanted it tht way and they dude just filmed what ever drake wanted xx but i still totally love the song and love drake tht will never change xxx
by cfduncan @ 19 Jul 2010 07:50 am
lol i dont get what y'all are seeing as revealing about that video, i was expecting full on nudity not a couple of shots of her boobs! i agree it looks like a very very low budget video, but a song isnt about the video.. its about the song! a good song doesnt need a fancy video to cary it!
by duplo @ 19 Jul 2010 12:15 pm
Perfect....*.*
by Samantha @ 19 Jul 2010 01:48 pm
wassat IMPORTANT - The Our Love Video has been made "Private" by Walter May I'm guessing it shouldn't have been put up yet....So please respect Drake & Walter May by not sharing the video with people. I've also taken down the screen caps from my website...if you took them please do not use them.
by Drakefan @ 19 Jul 2010 01:58 pm
Thanks for the heads up Samantha! I was about to upload the video onto YouTube but I watched it so many times and noticed the singing not in synch with the video and the editing wasn't so good at times so I think he'd want to work on it.
by Drakefan @ 19 Jul 2010 04:13 pm
And the version of the song in that video is an old version I think. The one we had on the Drake Bell Radio seemed to be an updated one because it had a few, added different instruments on it.
by arantxaCas @ 19 Jul 2010 08:24 pm
Hey I can't see the video!!! sad Vimeo saids it's a private video, I even create an acount but it still don't let me watch it. What can I do? wassat
by Ally @ 19 Jul 2010 08:41 pm

Walter sure loves BOOBS
by jenny @ 20 Jul 2010 12:10 am
To be honest i found it a little boring, i love the effects tough
by DaltonTibbs @ 20 Jul 2010 12:19 am
No Problem @arantxaCas
by Sonya @ 20 Jul 2010 12:39 am
I never noticed the difference of this song and the other version of it. I'm giong to check it out. But yeah, I kind of agree with most of you about it not being that much story in the video. And how come they keep showing a girl like that?? But I'd rather see that than all the worse stuff other people do in their music videos! This isn't even that bad. But I thought the video would've been more of a story too. I still like the video though and the song. The song is what matters more in my opinion.
by DaltonTibbs @ 20 Jul 2010 09:37 am
I agree with everyone about the story, cause it really doesn't tell much. But I don't care what anyone says, the effects are pretty amazingly awesome!! xD smile
by arantxaCas @ 20 Jul 2010 02:21 pm
I guess we shouldn't make a big deal about the girl, I mean we're talking about a video of a 24th years artist. In my opinion the important part of this is Drake's music, and each of us agree that the song is amazing.Maybe he could do a greater job with the story of the video but he hasn't said anything about it so he can still change whatever he want haha
by Drew @ 20 Jul 2010 11:43 pm
I agree that the girl and "revealing" stuff isn't that big a deal. They don't show much, plus Drake is a man after all. Nonetheless, I would like to see a better video for the song. Ultimately, I care more about the music than any video. February is a long way away!
by kev @ 21 Jul 2010 08:31 pm
just so you guys know...drake himself and his management payed for this video out of their own pocket so you shouldn't expect james cameron stuff lol you can see the difference between a label payed video (i know) and out of pocket (our love)
by Drew @ 22 Jul 2010 11:19 am
Yea Kev, I think that is our point. This video isn't as good as we were hoping, but we love his music more than a video. I think we all realize that Drake is doing this album all on his own and so the marketable parts of it won't be as strong as It's Only Time was. But what really matters, the music, will be the best yet from Drake!
by arantxaCas @ 22 Jul 2010 03:53 pm
Wow, nevermind about Drake and his management paying the video from his own pocket, I guess that's the reason for the label of the video and wouldn't be fair for them just to hear the critics while them are doing their best, anyway the song is sure amazing! And the video is not bad, I mean the flashlight art was great! Anyway we all continue waiting excited for the new album wich is the important thing(:
by Sonya @ 22 Jul 2010 04:31 pm
You know how he sings "She came from the Old North State...Land of the long leaf pine.." , well I never knew where this was so I searched it in google. It came up with many results saying North Carolina. I am just saying this because it is interesting. So he saying that the girl came from North Carolina. I think. I wonder who it is, but anyways this is just something fun to think about :)
by carly @ 22 Jul 2010 05:39 pm
Well Sonya, Drake's ex-girlfriend Melissa (Lingafelt) is actually from North Carolina. The song may or may not be about her, but that's really only Drake's business on whom the song is based off of. Besides, it's not important on who the song is about. What's important is how the song affects someone personally (in my opinion anyway).
by carly @ 22 Jul 2010 05:45 pm
I'm not saying that it wasn't okay for you to be curious. I'm just saying that music is about how each different individual feels it in his or her own way.
by Sonya @ 23 Jul 2010 11:35 pm
Carly, I understand what you mean :) I love the song, but it's always interesting to think about the deeper meaning. I agree with you though!
by Robin @ 26 Jul 2010 04:13 pm
I love the words in Drake's songs, he does write about people and things in his life. I find out how he's doing alot when I listen to his music.
I think its a great way to get your feelings out, he has a gift for sure.
by arantxaCas @ 26 Jul 2010 04:39 pm
that's true...in some interview time ago, he said writing was kind of doing a journal or diary, and I've never look it that way. That's why like fans, sometimes we feel like if we just really know him. In my case I think that Drake is really talent and an awesome person with lots of true feelings.
by Ally @ 18 Aug 2010 10:02 am
I agree, arantxaCas.

Drake puts his feelings in his songs, so we should respect him, his songs, and the video. smile
